Leopard 03:36
I broke through the heaving tide To get to you, the fevered bride Dressed in fresh pressed Sunday best Unbeknown that I would soon be put to test I walked in and caught you out embraced in sin there was no doubt That you did take me for a mug And so it's due, I'll pull this rug from under you Oil your shield and do not yield to those who would eschew The promise not to break heart it's something I ask you For if a Leopard cannot change its' spots then nor can you? Drowned in sound that has no soul I am dressed like a clown but my skin is Older than its' years and my eyes are wide With the fear of being tossed and turned in a bed of lies Oil your shield and do not yield to those who would eschew The promise not to break heart it's something I ask you For if a Leopard cannot change its' spots then nor can you? So fall in line and bend your ears Forsake those who would feed your fears And take a lend, play with your heart Don't pretend that they won't keep you in the dark Oil your shield and do not yield to those who would eschew The promise not to break heart it's something I ask you For if a Leopard cannot change its' spots then nor can you?

Ballerina 05:14
Sign yourself away to the promised land Father Time no longer sways Mother Earth she slips away like sand Tie your sails, to her tail Seven stars they rise up above our heads Plough the earth for one more night Constellations sew a distant thread But lucent eyes realise Spread like a starfish, the point's on the cross and you know You're gonna die But a slight ballerina who spins in the ether, you know she's gonna fly Yes you know, she's gonna fly Churchyard junkies strung out on borrowed words Preach the sermon, hear no song Thoughtless words are thrown in drunken herds What went wrong? Spread like a starfish, the point's on the cross and you know You're gonna die But a slight ballerina who spins in the ether, you know she's gonna fly Yes you know, she's gonna fly There's no reason left to be alone There's no time worth spending here So plant your house upon some foreign stone Let it grow, all will know Spread like a starfish, the point's on the cross and you know You're gonna die But a slight ballerina who spins in the ether, you know she's gonna fly Yes you know, she's gonna fly

about

Hey hey!!

I'm excited to release my first single from my upcoming album, 'Lost, Now Found' : ) It's a Folk-Stompy number with Knopfler-esque electric guitar. I've also coupled it with an unreleased version of an older song, 'Ballerina', from my second Album.

I hope you enjoy the songs and I look forward to letting you hear the new Album in due course : )
